Krasov attends Castro Valley High School, and Stoller attends Oakland's College Preparatory School.Lee joined the two students at a Congressional Reception where the two hundred eighty students attending the Junior Statesmen Summer School were honored, along with C-Span's Brian Lamb and Steve Scully. It's important that students from California and from all over the United States come to Washington to see how our laws are made, said Lee. The Junior Statesmen Summer School is a great program, and I am proud to have several 9th Congressional District students here as participants. During their three weeks in Washington, DC, these high school scholars have engaged in an intensive study of politics and government. The Summer School is sponsored by The Junior Statesmen Foundation, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational organization that was founded almost seventy years ago to educate young people about public affairs and the responsibilities of leadership in a democratic society. ### Next Article 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
