Today, Co-Chairs of the Congressional Caucus on Sudan and South Sudan, Reps. Caupano, Lee, McCaul, and Wolf, released the following statement regarding recent revelations of violence in South Sudan: As the co-chairs of the Sudan Caucus, we urge all leaders in South Sudan to show restraint and put an immediate end to the tragic violence in Juba and elsewhere in the country. We are deeply concerned about the violence and killings that havespread across Juba over the past few days, as well as the internal displacement caused by the unrest. We call upon President Kiir and his government to allow unfettered distribution of vital humanitarian assistance.
