Berkeley-based Lifelong Medical Care will receive a discretionary grant of $4,966,552, and Children's Hospital and Research Center of Oakland will receive two discretionary grants totaling $2,913,505. Other grant recipients include: The Oakland-based La Clinica De La Raza, which will receive a $400,272 in HHS grant through the Affordable Care Act program. And the Oakland-based Asian Health Services, which has been targeted to receive a HHS grant of $62,000 through the Affordable Care Act. These grants will be dispersed incrementally between May 2012 and April 2015. I am pleased to announce that these four institutions have been targeted to receive this vital funding, said Congresswoman Lee.
