Mr. Handa was a fixture in the community, known throughout the city of Oakland as a man who was determined to do all he could to improve the quality of life of the people of Oakland. Most importantly, Mr. Handa will be remembered for his unrelenting effort to holding public officials accountable for their actions and decisions.
