With the rapid transmission of Ebola, and the hazard it poses to public health, I believe it is essential that travel restrictions and heightened airport screening guidelines be implemented immediately.  “I recently sent a letter to the Director of the CDC and the Administrator of the FAA encouraging their agencies to consider all possible scenarios of containment and prevention, including but not limited to travel restrictions and heightened screening procedures. The health of American citizens remains my top priority, and we must increase our precautionary measures and prevent the disease from further entering our country.”  # # # 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
