Seth Magaziner. “I am pleased to have helped secure federal funding to meet the needs of Block Island residents and visitors, and will continue fighting to ensure federal dollars are felt in communities all across Rhode Island.” During the town hall, Rep. Magaziner discussed his work to protect Social Security and Medicare, lower costs for consumers, defend access to abortion and bring federal funding back to Rhode Island. Rep. Magaziner then visited the Block Island Fire Station to meet with Fire Chief Chris Hobe and Block Island firefighters. The tour included a discussion on the construction that is currently underway for a new Block Island Public Safety Complex and Rep. Magaziner’s work to support Rhode Island’s firefighters.
