The first is his recent insistence we will destroy ISIS. For two years plus, ISIS has grown in power and influence. Their evil is spreading well beyond their caliphate. We are the most powerful nation on earth yet we are lobbing the equivalent of warning shots at ISIS targets with less than 20 airstrikes a day. We ought to be hitting them with everything we have I am talking about a thousand plus strikes a day until every last one of their fighters is dead. The Presidents second mistake is insisting on a refugee resettlement program. Yes, that is exactly what it is. Not only can we not ensure with 100% accuracy that these supposed refugees have no links to terrorism, but we have no plan to repatriate them back to their countries of origin. His third mistake come as no surprise because it is straight out of the Chicago playbook. In a speech about combatting terrorism, he outlined four steps Congress should take to assist him. Two of those happened to be new gun control measures. Protecting our people from terrorism is not about domestic gun ownership laws. If he is truly concerned about gun violence then he should task his Attorney General with investigating the gangs in Chicago instead of the police department. The fourth mistake is the product of an increasingly prevalent liberal way thinking that is, ignore hard realities and espouse whimsical solutions instead. He says the international community should find a way to transition Assad out of power. Such an asinine suggestion proves he is unwilling to accept the fact that his initial failures from the beginning have allowed Assad to stay in power and Russia fortify him. It has been five years Mr. President, wake up! Four mistakes for a President who is unqualified, underprepared and indecisive.
