Congressman Marshall, a member of the Farm Bill Conference Committee, released the following statement: This legislation has been years in the making, and I am proud that Senator Roberts and Chairman Conaway have struck an agreement that will give certainty to millions of farmers across the country and especially in Kansas. After multiple years of price declines,our Kansas producersareapproaching anotherloan renewal seasonwhich makeshaving a five-year bill in placeabsolutely crucial. It's good to see this finalmeasure includeimprovements for farm safety net programs,makenew investments in protecting animal health, and roll back burdensome regulations on Kansas producers. We have been honored to help craft this Farm Bill and advocate tirelessly for Kansas farmers and rancherssince being appointed the House Ag Committee and the Farm Bill Conference Committee.
