This year's interviews were done via Zoom to protect the health and safety of both students and panelists. Helping students realize their dreams of serving in the U.S. Military is one of the highest honors I have as a U.S. Congressman, said Rep. Marshall. These young men and women bring with them outstanding resumes and impressive professional goals. As a veteran myself, I applaud their desire to give of their time and talents to lead and serve our great nation. The following students participated in interviews and received nominations: Leah Bentley, a senior atBuhler High School, was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy and U.S. Naval Academy Ian Foster, a senior atLyons High School, was nominated to the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy Tanner Hect, a senior at Wamego High School, was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Naval Academy Caleb Shea, a senior at Wamego High School, was nominated to the U.S. Air Force Academy Corbijn Lamb, a senior atManhattan High School, wasnominated to the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Sawyer Stevens, a senior at Scott Community High School, was nominated to the U.S. Naval Academy Jalyn Whorton, a senior at McPherson High School, was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy Dick Young and Phyllis Fitzgerald, both Army veterans residing in Junction City, Jean Clifford, an Air Force veteran of Garden City, and Tyler Mason, an Army veteran and Military Affairs Liaison for Rep.
