"Thank you to all the students that participated in this year's Congressional Art Competition. Every year, I am filled with inspiration and admiration for the skilled student artists and committed teachers who take part in this competition," Miller said. "It brings me great joy to contribute to the promotion of the upcoming generation of artistic talent. Art has the power to enhance our lives, and education in this field helps children develop skills that prepare them for future accomplishments. My heartfelt congratulations go to Dawsyn for her award-winning artwork, which will be a stunning addition to the halls of Congress for the next year." The judges for the competition were art teachers, Taylor Marcel of the Unity K-12 school system in Tolono, Illinois, and Jake Beccue of St. Joseph-Ogden High School in St. Joseph, Illinois.
