In December, McAdams announced the selection of Nichole Dunn as Chief of Staff. Eric May will serve as Legislative Director. With nearly 10 years of experience on Capitol Hill, Eric most recently worked for Congressman John Delaney, handling House Financial Services and Joint Economic Committee issues. A native Texan, Eric graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Political Science degree. Stephanie Withers will serve as Executive Assistant working from the West Jordan District Office. Most recently, she worked as Mayor McAdams' executive assistant and prior to that, she worked in the Utah Attorney General's Office Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. She is a Utah native and has a Bachelor of Information Technology degree. Alyson Heyrend will serve as Director of Communication and press secretary. She is a Utah native with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Utah State University and a Master's in Strategic Communication from Westminster College. Before serving as Mayor McAdams' communications director, she worked as communication director for former Utah Congressman Jim Matheson. Michelle Schmitt will serve as Director of Digital Communications. She worked as senior advisor on policy & communication and deputy communications director for Mayor McAdams. Prior to that she was communications specialist for former Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon. Michelle has a Bachelor of Political Science degree and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. Tiffany Clason will serve as District Office Director. She was most recently the community engagement and outreach manager for the Salt Lake County Mayor's office. Previously, she worked for Utah Governor Gary Herbert as director of constituent services and for Louisiana U.S. Senator David Vitter as the North Louisiana regional manager. Andrea Valverde will serve as Director of Office Operations. She recently served as office manager and Deputy Mayor's executive assistant for the Salt Lake County Mayor's office. Andrea also worked for Utah State Representatives Angela Romero and Sue Duckworth. In May she will graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Political Science degree. Chris Cunningham will serve as Legislative Assistant. With three years of experience working on Capitol Hill, Chris has advised members of both the Blue Dog and New Democrat Coalitions on constituent engagement and domestic policy matters. A Boise, Idaho native, Chris is a Westminster College graduate with a Bachelor of Economics and Finance degree. Julianne Aldous will serve as Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant. Julianne is from Utah and previously interned in the office of Representative Scott Peters. She has a Bachelor of Political Science degree from the University of Utah. Christian Mower will serve as field representative, working from the West Jordan District Office. Christian is a sixth generation Utahn and a graduate of Murray High School and the University of Utah. He served as the Government Relations Director for the Associated Students of the University of Utah and worked with a commission to build a memorial to President Dwight Eisenhower in Washington D.C. Hanna Barton will serve as a caseworker in the West Jordan office. A native of Salt Lake's Sugarhouse neighborhood, Hannah recently worked as a team member for Mayor's Initiatives and Special Projects at Salt Lake County. She has a Bachelor of Political Science degree and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah.
