Utah voters spoke and now is the time for Utah to move forward. The replacement bill included a fall back provisionfull expansion. Utah leaders should honor that legislative action. Doing so will cover more Utahns at a lower cost to the state. Utah families should not have to wait any longer to receive health care coverage that will let them see a doctor and get necessary treatment for illnesses and conditions, providing better physical and mental health, said McAdams. McAdams said that in Congress, he voted for a bipartisan measure-- H. Res. 271 expressing the sense of the House that the Justice Department should reverse its decision to support a court ruling that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional. It is that court fight, supported by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, that threatens the entire law, including the Medicaid expansion provision. | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
