The bills are the Small Business Development Centers Improvement Act (H.R. 4406); Women's Business Centers Improvements Act (H.R. (4405); SCORE for Small Business Act (H.R. 4407); and a measure to establish the Growth Accelerator Fund Competition within the Small Business Administration (H.R. 4387). Utah small businesses are responsible for most of our state's job growth and contribute to our strong economy. This legislation strengthens and improves some of the programs and tools offered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) that make an important difference to these job-creators, said McAdams. The Small Business Administration's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program provides grants to administer management training and technical assistance. The SCORE program is a cooperative agreement with the nonprofit SCORE Association and helps small businesses get free advice and mentoring from experienced or retired volunteer entrepreneurs. The SBA's Growth Accelerator Fund Competition provides prizes to small business accelerators and incubators. The fund would give prizes to entities that advise small businesses and help them find capital, mentors, and networking opportunities. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
