Attendees had the opportunity to meet directly with hiring managers, submit résumés, interview for open positions, and learn about career training and workforce development resources. Before the four-hour job fair opened to attendees, Congressman McCormick, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, Georgia Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes, Fulton County Commissioner Bridget Thorne, and Mayor Jim Gilvin held a press conference, where they delivered remarks highlighting the importance of strengthening America’s workforce, supporting small businesses, and expanding economic opportunity. “Calvin Coolidge once said, ‘The business of the American people is business,’” said Congressman McCormick. “Bringing employers and job seekers together is one of the most practical ways we can serve our communities. It was great to welcome more than 100 employers from across Georgia and over 1,000 Georgians looking for their next great opportunity.
