https://meadows.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3099 Rep. Meadows Statement on President Trump’s Executive Order Against Anti-Semitism 2019-12-11 2019 2019-12 Republican House NC Mark Meadows M001187 meadows.house.gov     legacy RELEASE: Rep. Meadows Statement on President Trump's Executive Order Against Anti-Semitism Washington, D.C. Today, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) praised President Trump's executive order taking action against anti-Semitism in the United States. The executive order adopts the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism and provides important tools to protect American Jews being targeted by anti-Semitism. Meadows released the following statement on the order: Today, President Trump signed an executive order taking a new step to better protect Jewish Americans from anti-Semitic discrimination. This executive order clarifies that whenever anti-Semitic discrimination is based on race, color or national origin, Title VI anti-discrimination protections must apply. Anti-Semitism anywhere is unacceptable, and new steps to prevent it are unfortunately needed. I am glad to know that President Trump takes this very real issue to heart, and I am proud that our government is taking action to fight something so depraved. Anti-Semitism endangers millions of Americans, and we can never be complacent in our fight against it. It should be noted that some reporting has suggested the executive order defines Judaism as a nationality. This is false. The order doesn't even define Judaism at all. Whenever anti-Semitic discrimination is based on race, color or national origin, Title VI protections should apply, and the executive order does so. ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
