Rep. Meadows' bill honors the life and sacrifice of Kyle Poteata veteran who tragically committee suicide after suffering with PTSD. Meadows released the following statement on the bill: The tremendous sacrifice of Kyle Poteat in service to our country will not be forgotten. To honor him and his family, we must do all we can to support the individuals and families who suffer due to post-traumatic stress disorder. This bill seeks to accomplish that by allocating tools and resources needed by the Department of Veterans Affairs to best serve veterans and their family members in communities in Western North Carolina and across the nation.
