There are no words strong enough to condemn the barbaric, horrific attacks that took place in West Jerusalem. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those lost. While many have applauded Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' condemnation of these attacks, it must be pointed out that Hamaswhich is part of the Palestinian Unity Governmentpraised this attack. As long as the Palestinian government embraces Hamas, statements condemning its terrorist acts are simply empty words. I call on President Abbas to denounce the brutal Hamas terrorists and remove them from the Palestinian government. Congressman Mark Meadows serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. ### f t # e | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
