Congresswoman Miller met with Jay Rist, the CEO of the YMCA of Southern West Virginia, to discuss how they have partnered with West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) to provide activities for the Beckley community and plans to add a section onto their building to increase space for YMCA customers and children. βIt was a pleasure touring the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. I am glad to see the finished renovations and to hear that they are working towards adding additional space for YMCA members and children after the loss of their childcare building during the COVID pandemic.
