Since coming to Congress I have been working with my colleagues in Congress especially Rep. John Moolenaar (MI-4) and Rep. Jack Bergman (MI-1) and the Trump Administration to advance this project. With the inclusion of these funds in the USACE FY19 work plan, the Soo Locks complex moves one giant step closer to breaking ground on the new construction it needs.
