Employees on the field trips dressed as Red Army members and pledged allegiance to the CCP. In a separate report over the holiday weekend, The Wall Street Journal reported that Chinese nationals have attempted to access military installations and other sensitive sites in the United States as many as one hundred times in recent years. The Michigan National Guard has hosted trainings for Taiwanese military representatives less than 100 miles away from Gotion's proposed plant. "Gotion’s parent company and its employees actively celebrate the CCP and pledge to advance its goals. This includes when they make decisions about their wholly-owned subsidiary and its facilities in the United States. Anyone who thinks the subsidiary is truly independent is not looking at all the facts.
