Neal N000015 neal.house.gov neal https://neal.house.gov/category/press-releases/ scraper Springfield, MA Springfield, MA – Congressman Richard E. Neal encourages students in the First Congressional District of Massachusetts to participate in the 2021 Congressional App Challenge (CAC), an app competition for students in middle and high school. The CAC accepts computer programs (or apps) written in any programming language, for any platform (desktop/PC, web, mobile, raspberry Pi, etc.). The Challenge’s submission portal is open and students can register and submit their applications until November 1st, 2021. The competition is open to all students who meet the eligibility requirements, regardless of coding experience. “I strongly encourage students of all skill levels to participate and learn how to create their own apps,” said Congressman Neal. “We have some of the brightest minds here in Massachusetts, and the next generation of leaders in the STEM field is certainly among us.” Winners will be selected by panels of judges drawn from the local community and honored by their Member of Congress. Their apps are eligible to be featured on display in the U.S. Capitol building, on house.gov and on the Congressional App Challenge website. For further information about the Congressional App Challenge, please visit www.CongressionalAppChallenge.us or reach out to Abby McGovern in Congressman Neal’s office at abby.mcgovern@mail.house.gov. ## 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T20:24:51Z
