Congressman Neguse, who was just 34 at the time, was selected to serve as Co-Freshman Representative to Leadership, representing first-term members at the leadership table. In the 117th Congress, Congressman Neguse was elected by the House Democratic Caucus to serve as a DPCC Co-Chair. In addition, he served as the DCCC Recruitment and Red-to-Blue Co-Chair.
