This Republican bill hands trillions to the super rich, raises taxes on millions of everyday Americans, and sets the stage for the privatization and gutting of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. I voted no on this bill and will continue to vehemently oppose it in every way I can. The most recent Tax Policy Center analysis of the conference report indicates that 83% of the tax cuts under H.R.1 will go to the top 1% of Americans.
