But passing another continuing resolution is simply the wrong approach. Congress has a responsibility and owes it to the people of the United States to adopt a responsible budget and pass Appropriations bills to achieve full-year funding for the vital programs on which so many Americans rely. I am grateful this continuing resolution provides funding for the U.S. Air Force’s KC–46A, the next generation of midair refueling tankers. The Air Force previously announced Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst is among five candidate bases under consideration for the next round of active duty-led KC-46A fleet.
