Arizona is home to thousands of active duty servicemembers from every branch of our military, including the largest fighter wing in the world. Today, the men and women of the 56th Fighter Wing demonstrated their capabilities for the president and discussed many of the challenges they face as they fulfill their missions, said Rep. O'Halleran. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I am glad we could provide the president with a clear picture of their experiences. In addition to touring the defense capabilities of the 56thWing, O'Halleran took part in a roundtable discussion with President Trump, defense contractors, and local leaders. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues in Congress to support our Armed Forces, continued O'Halleran. Since I was sworn in, we have passed bipartisan legislation to give them a much-deserved raise and increase the budget to allow them to complete their missions at home and abroad. O'Halleran also presented President Trump with a letter outlining the top three issues impacting First Congressional District families: improving veterans access to health care, protecting Social Security, and fixing our broken immigration system.
