Following the event, O'Halleran released the following statement: This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has upended American life. Tens of millions are unemployed, beloved mom-and-pop businesses have closed their doors for good, and we've lost over 270,000 mothers, grandfathers, friends, and neighbors. Today, over 13 million individuals in the U.S. have tested positive for this virus, and our hospitals are reaching a breaking point yet again. This is long overdue; both housesof Congress are at the table to debate and discuss much-needed coronavirus aid, but this is only a starting point. Much more needs to be done to address this deadly pandemic in the coming months and I stand ready and willing to work with anyone to secure results for Arizona families.
