Nearly 400 students from 39 different schools within Mississippi's Fourth Congressional District participated in the event. These students will soon enter unfamiliar territory. I believe it is our duty to ensure the upcoming generation of leaders is equipped with skills that will help them be successful and achieve their goals. Right now, they have the options to pursue whatever path they choose whether that is a college education, military career, or start their own business. I hope every student left this event today feeling more motivated and empowered than when they first walked into the Youth Leadership Summit this morning."
