The revised USMCA fundamentally strengthens labor enforcement and will allow us to improve access to lower-cost prescription drugs for Americans. This agreement provides our businesses with the certainty and predictability they need, and I am pleased the measure will now come to Congress for a vote. Earlier this year Congressman Pappas sent several letters in addition to meeting with Ambassador Robert Lighthizer and his team urging them to resolve significant concerns about the agreement as written in relation to the exclusivity for biologic drugs as well as environmental and labor provisions. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
