Since last week, I've said my number one priority is signing a short-term agreement to get workers back on the job as quickly as possible. Today's agreement will get workers back on the job Monday, December 22, it will provide KT immediate payment for past costs, and allows construction to continue while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers transitions staff to the project to negotiate the long term contract and complete this hospital as quickly and efficiently as possible for our veterans.
