The clinic will be staffed with volunteer lawyers and will run from 10 am 2 pm. No appointment is necessary. "Unfortunately, navigating the system of veterans benefits can be daunting and sometimes some good legal advice is necessary. And some veterans give up in the face of that complicated system. I'm hoping that veterans who are hesitant to apply, have had a claim denied, have a complexclaim or just need a little advice will take advantage of the clinic," Pingree said. The clinic is being put on by the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, Pine Tree Legal Assistance and the Maine Commission for Community Service.
