I anticipate the debt situation will be a topic of interest, but I also would like to discuss other federal issues impacting our community, like public land use and the National Parks Service and postal issues,” Plaskett said. The town hall meetings will be held on all three islands, with the first scheduled for 6pm Tuesday, February 21 at the Great Hall on the University of the Virgin Islands’ Albert M. Sheen Campus in St. Croix. The second-term congresswoman will host a town hall for St. John residents on Wednesday, February 22 at 6:30 pm in the Cleone Henrietta Maynard Legislative Hall in Cruz Bay. Plaskett’s St. Thomas Town Hall is scheduled for 6 pm Thursday, February 23 at Victor's New Hideout in Sub-Base. Residents and media who wish to attend are encouraged to RSVP with the St. Croix District Office to allow best possible accommodation regarding seating and other logistical needs. RSVP with the St. Croix District Office by dialing 340-778-5900 or via email to richard.motta@mail.house.gov 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
