When it comes to curing cancer we have a long way to go, of course, but progress is occurring. Last month Congress approved a spending bill that included $130 million for breast cancer research, and $5 million for the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young Act, or the EARLY Act, which will help increase the quality and quantity of life for young women with breast cancer. This legislation also extended the PALS Act which will help to ensure young women have access to mammograms starting at age 40. To the survivors, I stand with you and will continue to stand up for you and for all those afflicted with the devastating diagnosis that is breast cancer." f t # e 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
