Maines Second District Congressman, Bruce Poliquin, released the following statement: Its very concerning to learn Iran has developed a newer, more high-tech ballistic missile and is touting their success as the Iran nuclear deal is still being debated. Under the proposed Iran nuclear agreement, Iran, the leading state sponsor of terrorism, will be able to sell and purchase ballistic missiles, such as the Fateh-313, within 8 years. I have often said that relieving Irans economic, arms and ballistic missile sanctions will likely result in an arms race and help fuel those who seek to harm Americans at home and abroad. This is yet another example of why this proposed nuclear agreement is a bad deal.
