This grant will help Jackson Laboratory and Acme Monaco, through the City of Presque Isle, to help expand, create more jobs and ensure their long term commitment to Maine. Note for Jackson Lab: This EDA investment funds construction of site work and multiple utility upgrades on an existing building necessary for the development of a new, state-of-the-art biomedical research facility in Bar Harbor.When fully operational, the facility will be a catalyst for advancement in biomedical research regionally, nationally, and internationally.
