Congressman Poliquin said, “Our communities succeed when they have the tools to grow. I’m very pleased this important support will go toward enhancing our infrastructure in the County and helping our communities most effectively carry out critical development projects.” The grant, which is administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), will be used to provide training and technical assistance through a series of seminars for town administrators, city managers, boards of selectpersons and other municipal officials and staff in Aroostook County which are focused on building the local capacity to carry out projects like housing rehabilitation, community and economic development, and public infrastructure development.
