| https://price.house.gov/newsroom/press-releases/price-calls-house-vote-enda | PRICE CALLS FOR HOUSE VOTE ON ENDA | 2013-11-05 | 2013 | 2013-11 | Democrat | House | NC | David Price | P000523 | price.house.gov | legacy | Washington, D.C. Representative David Price (D-NC) released the following statement today after the Senate voted to proceed to consideration of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). The bipartisan procedural vote clears the way for final passage of the legislation in the Senate. ENDA would bar workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Passage of ENDA would bring our workplace discrimination laws in line with our values. Americans understand that what matters is your ability to get the job done, and that discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, religion or sexual orientation has no place in the workplace. Following Senate passage, House Republican leaders should allow a vote on this bipartisan legislation without delay. I believe we could successfully push the bill to passage, and that all Americans would benefit. # # # | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
