Tom Reed announced full government spending bills, which included many NY-23 district priorities, passed the House on a bipartisan vote. Governing by continuing resolutions and government shutdowns is no way to run our country and it hurts the people we care about and were sent to Washington to represent, Tom said. This is why in November the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus called on Democratic and Republican congressional leadership to put forward a bipartisan spending bill to fully fund our government through the end of the 2020 fiscal year. Today, we were proud to support the result of our pressure on House leadership. This spending bill will deliver certainty and allow for long-term strategic planning for our government agencies and their employees as well as deliver upon many important policy initiatives crucial to the people we represent in New York, Tom concluded. Key wins for NY-23 in this bill include: The passage ofTom's bipartisan bill, theProtecting Access to Biological Products,to lower the cost of insulin. f t # e | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
