The legislation now heads to the Senate for consideration. "I am proud to support another round of assistance to hardworking Pennsylvanians whose livelihoods have been devasted by draconian statewide shutdowns," said Reschenthaler. "This legislation provides much-needed relief to our nation's small businesses and families, facilitates the distribution of Operation Warp Speed vaccines, and ensures we can safely reopen schools and our economy. It is unacceptable that Speaker Pelosi's irresponsible brinkmanship and political posturing needlessly delayed these bipartisan relief efforts, but I am glad Congressional Democrats finally put politics aside to help the American people." Specifically, the legislation includes the following COVID-19 provisions: Provides $600 Economic Impact Payments for Americans and their children. Enables another round of PPP loans to help struggling small businesses. Invests $7 billion in broadband Internet services, including $300 million for rural broadband. Facilitates vaccine distribution funding, including $20 billion for purchase of vaccines that will make the vaccine available at no charge for anyone who needs it. Extends $300-per-week supplemental unemployment assistance through March 2021.
