Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments has been awarded a $400,000 grant to help respond to the coronavirus pandemic by providing planning, coordination, technical assistance, and boost economic development activities in the region. Pee Dee Regional Council of Governments has been awarded a $400,000 grant to support the response to the coronavirus pandemic by assisting local governments with economic recovery and mitigation assistance. "I'm happy to announce these two grants. These grants address two Seventh District priorities: relief from the economic crisis brought on by coronavirus and stimulating the economy, saidCongressman Tom Rice. These grants will help grow our local economy and improve resiliency. We will keep working with the Trump Administration to get results for the Seventh District.
