I got to know Larry over the years serving on the Transportation & Infrastructure committee in the House and recently as ranking member of the Highways & Transit subcommittee this Congress. Larry was always a strong advocate for his members. Most recently, I saw his advocacy first-hand as he fought to protect the health of his members by ensuring they had access to PPE during the pandemic. As a pro-Davis-Bacon Republican, I always appreciated Larry's insight on those issues and other policy areas affecting the men and women of labor. Larry was truly a great guy, and I can't imagine what his family must be going through during this difficult time. Shannon, our kids, and I send our condolences to Larry's family as they mourn his loss. ### f t # e 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
