Their work undoubtedly saved lives. We trust that anyone else who may have been involved in these heinous actions will be caught and brought to justice swiftly. I call on my fellow Republicans to condemn these acts of attempted violence on Democrats and call on my Democrat colleagues to condemn the harassment and intimidation many of the extreme elements in their party have imposed on Republicans throughout our country over recent months. This all must stop. We must return to civil discourse and encourage everyone we know to engage in peaceful demonstration against policies with which they disagree. Political violence must not become the norm in America. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
