This means condemning bad state actors when they threaten our national security and global safety. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I will continue to prioritize our national security by rooting out terrorist organizations that threaten global stability and holding state sponsors of terrorism accountable for their malicious actions.” BACKGROUND: H.R.1698 -- The bipartisan Iran Ballistic Missiles and International Sanctions Enforcement Act, co-sponsored by Rep. Rosen and over 300 of her colleagues, would authorize the Administration to hold Iran accountable for its illicit ballistic missile program and to impose sanctions on entities that supply the regime with ballistic missile technologies. H.R. 1698 passed by a vote of 423 to 2. H.R.3329 -- The Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Amendments Act of 2017, of which Rep. Rosen is a co-sponsor, would impose additional sanctions on Hezbollah. This bipartisan bill also targets foreign governments, individuals, and companies that support the terrorist organization in its fundraising and recruitment activities. H.R. 3329 passed by voice vote. H.R.3342 -- The Sanctioning Hezbollah's Illicit Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act, introduced by Reps. Mike Gallagher and co-sponsored by Rep. Rosen and a group of 25 bipartisan Members of Congress —directs the president to impose sanctions on members of Hezbollah who have violated international human rights laws by using civilians as human shields. H.R. 3342 passed by voice vote. H.Res.359 -- Co-sponsored by Rep. Rosen, this resolution urges the European Union to designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and to impose sanctions on Hezbollah-affiliated terrorists. H. Res. 359 passed by voice vote. ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
