The grant will provide funds to cover the costs of trauma counseling and therapy for the more than 600 victims affected by 1 October. I thank all our local and state authorities for working diligently with the DOJ in helping our community receive this much needed award, said Rosen. 1 October forever changed the lives of countless families in Las Vegas and across the country. This grant will provide much needed funding to support victims and survivors so they can get access to counseling, therapy, vocational rehabilitation, trauma recovery, and much needed legal aid. I will continue to do everything in my power to help our community heal. BACKGROUND: Earlier this year, Rosen signed on to a letter urging the DOJ to accept Nevada's application for this grant through the DOJ's Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program. ### | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
