A primary responsibility of Congresswoman Ross’ district office in Raleigh is to help Wake County residents secure backlogged Social Security checks, Veterans Affairs (VA) benefit claims, delayed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) refunds, Medicare benefits, and other federal resources. Congresswoman Ross’ office works to ensure any constituent having issues with a federal agency, program, or benefit receives fair and equitable treatment. “Since coming to Congress, my dedicated team has fought to ensure the people of Wake County can access the resources they are owed from the federal government,” said Congresswoman Ross. “In total, I’m proud to announce that my outstanding staff and I have now delivered over $20 million back to seniors, veterans, small business owners, and other Wake County residents. My office is passionate about serving our local community, so if you or someone you know needs help with a federal agency, please do not ever hesitate to contact my office.” Since taking office in January 2021, Congresswoman Ross’ office has closed 3,890 cases and returned a total of $20,001,022.26 back to the Wake County community.
