As Ranking Member of the Committee, I welcomed him and was impressed with his dedication to serve the American people in Congress. During my time in leadership, he was a productive member of the oversight process. When Mike was nominated to be CIA Director, he again showed promise as a public servant beholden to the American people. I have tried not to criticize Mike personally since he left Congress because I know that, deep down, his inclination is to serve the American people admirably.
