| https://sablan.house.gov/ead-filers-get-auto-ss-card | EAD filers get auto SS card | 2017-11-05 | 2017 | 2017-11 | Democrat | House | MP | Gregorio Sablan | S001177 | sablan.house.gov | legacy | EAD filers get auto SS card Nov 5, 2017 Noncitizens residing in the Marianas, applying for an Employment Authorization Document on Form I-765, no longer have to apply in-person for a Social Security card. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services now processes the EAD application, then transmits the approval to the Social Security Administration electronically. Once the approval is received, SSA issues an original or replacement card and mails it to the address listed on the I-765. The Social Security card should arrive within seven business days of receipt of the approved EAD. The Social Security Administration has more information here. | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
