According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, the GOP tax plan would add over $1.4 trillion to the deficit over the next decade. Analysis indicates that the GOP tax bill would actually raise taxes on nearly 13 million tax filers who earn $100,000 a year or less. The tax bill also proposes the elimination of important credits for education, homeownership, medical expenses, development in struggling communities, and more.
