The panelists provided presentations about the admissions process, resources and scholarships available for students, and their personal experiences as U.S. Military Service Academy students or graduates. "I hope all graduating seniors in Alabama's 7th District will consider applying to a U.S. Military Service Academy for college. I can attest to and hope all were able to witness during our presentations that it's a great way to get a scholarship for a great education, but also is a wonderful way to learn, see the world and serve your country," said Rep. Sewell. "It is a requirement that you serve a minimum of 5 years in our nation's military. What a wonderful opportunity the U.S. Military Service Academies provide.
