The funding, secured through Congresswoman Brown’s Community Project Funding (CPF) request, was signed into law in March 2024 and will enable the expansion and renovation of the center’s facilities, allowing it to expand its essential programming for Cleveland’s communities. Last week, Congresswoman Brown visited the May Dugan Center to celebrate this investment and highlight its significance for the community. This grant will support the May Dugan Center’s service to more than 23,000 individuals and families across Cleveland. The Center provides food assistance, clothing, behavioral health counseling, adult education, job placement services, victim support, trauma counseling, and more.
