I will continue working with my colleagues in both parties to honor our commitments to the men and women in uniform and to keep our country secure.” The first amendment, introduced with Congressman Ted Budd (NC-13) and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-08), requires the U.S. Strategy in Syria to identify the amounts and sources of ISIS financing and to deny this financing as part of the broader, more effective US strategy. The second amendment, introduced with Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-16) and Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05), expands career training opportunities for active-duty military men and women so they can successfully transition into good-paying jobs as civilians.
